Prices come from Tamil Nadu's APMC market committees via India's Agmarknet portal. Every record shows its source and report date underneath.

How often are prices updated?

Markets typically publish the previous day's trades by mid-afternoon. If a market hasn't reported yet, this page clearly shows the last date it actually did, it is never shown as today's price when it isn't.

I only want prices for one market or crop, how do I filter?

Can this tell me whether to sell my crop now or wait?

No. This site shows only prices that were actually recorded, it does not forecast future prices or give selling advice, because a wrong forecast could cost a farmer real money.
